1936 Chris Craft Deluxe Double Cockpit Runabouts for Sale

Fully Restored 1936 18' Chris-Craft Double Cockpit Deluxe (One of Only 208 Built). This excellent, user-quality Model 514 (Serial Number 33169) is one of only 208 total units built. It features a new bottom, a new gas tank, and a brand new interior, and was structurally rebuilt to period-correct specs by Lee Heisman between 1993 and 1996. Purchased two years ago from his estate sale, the 95 horsepower Hercules Model K six-cylinder motor—the largest factory option offered for this model—was fitted in 2024 to finish the build. She was completely rebuilt. The boat never hit the water until 2024. The motor runs flawlessly and now has 22 hours of proving in the water to ensure it is completely dialed-in. It features 17 coats of topside varnish, fresh brightwork, and calibrated gauges. To enhance the vessel's overall functionality and sea-readiness, non-period-correct items have been added, including a complete 12-volt conversion, bilge pump, blower system, and a modern style through-hull prop shaft seal system so dripping isn't required into the boat. It also includes a system to run the boat from a bucket when out of the water. Comes complete with a bunk trailer and custom cover.
