Description

This 1948 Higgins Sport Speedster is set up with three-row seating in the cockpit, a utility configuration that's uncommon for the model. The boat has been through a complete restoration, including a full engine rebuild on the Graymarine six-cylinder inboard. The rebuild has about 1 hour of run time. The bottom is set in West System epoxy. The sides and deck were finished using the same West System process. Interior floor is gray marbled vinyl. Upholstery is white vinyl with red piping throughout. Electrical has been updated from the original 6-volt setup to 12-volt. The one deviation from original spec is the windshield: mahogany-framed, replacing the boat's original curved, frameless plexiglass.
