Description

This 1957 15'6" Lyman runabout is one of the most pristine that you could find. The boat is fully restored featuring new decks, new transom, and fresh varnish and paint. Until listed for sale this Lyman was featured in the front lobby of the National Museum of the Great Lakes in Toledo, OH. It is powered with a modern and reliable four stroke 25HP Mercury outboard motor. Because it was located in the museum the boats fuel tank and battery are "hidden" to give the boat a more authentic and clean look. The fuel tank has been replaced with a modern plastic tank and it is located under the front deck. The battery is located under the front seat in a custom made box painted the same color as the bilge/floorboards to make it less noticeable. Purchase includes the cover and single-axle bunk trailer. This boat is show-ready and truly turn-key, ready for its next owner.
